The Process ↘
-
This is the first step where you discuss your needs, preferences, and project specifics with the millwork provider. It includes specifying the type of wood, dimensions, design preferences, and any unique features you desire.
-
Based on your specifications, we will create a design spec for your review. Carefully review the design and request any changes or adjustments. Make sure all aspects, including dimensions, materials, and aesthetics, meet your expectations.
-
Once the design is approved, the provider will give you a quote for the cost of the millwork. This will include material, labor, and any additional costs like shipping or installation. Upon agreement, a contract is signed.
-
After contract signing, the provider begins the actual fabrication of your custom millwork. This process involves cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing the wood as per the agreed design.
-
Once the millwork is fabricated, it undergoes a quality check. You may also be invited to inspect the work to ensure it meets the agreed standards and specifications.
-
After your approval, the custom millwork is delivered to your site. We will keep you updated on transit times every step of the way.
